About My Biography
UWITONZE Mireille is a dedicated Crops Development Specialist with a strong academic and practical background in crop production, management, and sustainable agriculture. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Production (A0) from the University of Rwanda – College of Agriculture, Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (UR-CAVM), where she specialized in crop management, soil fertility, plant protection, and sustainable production systems.
During her internship at SPF–Joint Venture in Musanze District, Mireille conducted research on “Comparing Growth Performance of Seedling Plantlets under Aeroponic and Sandponic Systems.” This experience provided her with practical expertise in seed potato production, nutrient management, transplanting, irrigation, and plant health monitoring. She also participated in a field project on the “Characterization of Pests and Diseases per Development Stage in Maize,” which enhanced her analytical and diagnostic skills in crop health and productivity.
Her technical expertise covers a wide range of agricultural domains, including crop production and management, pest and disease control, seed systems, soil management, and agronomic planning. Mireille is also skilled in data analysis, research reporting, teamwork, and problem-solving, making her a valuable contributor to CS Njema’s agricultural development initiatives.
